HydraFacial is an invigorating treatment that can be given in as little as 30 minutes. It delivers long-term skin health and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all skin types. It offers instant, noticeable results with no downtime or irritation. The HydraFacial treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective.

Hydration is the foundation of healthy, radiant skin. Irritation of the skin has been proven to increase signs of aging. HydraFacial is a hydrating and non-irritating treatment.

The HydraFacial treatment is designed for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the HydraFacial treatment. The medical esthetician may choose specific treatment serums and/or customize the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs. Consult your physician or skincare professional for a skin evaluation and sensitivity test.

There is no downtime, however slight redness may be observed that should subside in a few hours.

PRE-CARE

  • Discontinue the use of retinols and hydroquinone for 48 hours prior to your treatment.
  • Avoid exfoliation for 48 hours prior to your treatment.
  • Avoid waxing for 48 hours prior to your appointment.
  • Avoid Medium/Deep chemical peels and laser treatments for 2 weeks prior to your treatment.
  • Individuals prone to cold sores, are susceptible to breakouts after the HydraFacial treatment; prophylactic treatments should be discussed with your physician.
  • Avoid unprotected sun exposure/ tanning for a minimum of 48 hours prior to your treatment.
  • Wait a minimum of 5 days after BOTOX and a minimum of 2 weeks after dermal fillers to receive the HydraFacial treatment.
  • Avoid shaving the face on the day of the treatment.

POST-CARE

  • Avoid unprotected sun exposure/ tanning for a minimum of 48 hours after your treatment.
  • Avoid hot showers, saunas and strenuous exercise for a 24 hours post treatment.
  • Makeup can be applied post-treatment, however for optimal results we recommend avoiding makeup for 24 hours.
  • Avoid sunbathing for at least 48hrs, (although, we recommend this indefinitely) to prevent UV rays from damaging your skin which slows down the benefits of HydraFacial. Patients who absolutely cannot avoid sun exposure should use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher to maintain your improved skin.
