ZO Stimulator Peel is gentle on the skin but strong enough to make a visible difference, brightening and refreshing the face for a youthful, dewy look. This peel is known in the USA as the ‘Red Carpet Peel’ owing to the number of celebrities that have the Peel before they have to look picture perfect for red carpet events and can’t afford to hide away with the redness of flaking that some strong peels cause.

The ZO Skin Health Stimulator Peel includes a combination of three different acids plus potent concentrations of other active ingredients to exfoliate the skin, stimulate the growth of collagen and elastin and reduce wrinkles. The ZO Stimulator Peel is an extremely effective way to treat signs of aging, discoloration and UV damage.

Peel Strength: Mild

The ZO Skin Health Stimulator Peel incorporates three essential formulas that prep, peel and neutralize the skin so it looks and feels healthier without irritation or downtime. The prep formula first beaks down the liquid barrier to prepare the skin for enhanced penetration of the peel into the epidermis. Next, the peel solution, which utilizes a combination of alpha hydroxy acids (citric, glycolic and lactic acids), is applied to provide both epidermal exfoliation and renewal. Finally, a neutralizer is applied to calm and soothe the skin while restoring it back to a normal pH.

Do I need to prepare my skin before the peel?

You do not need to perform any preparation or use any specific skin care before the ZO Stimulator Peel. However you will get better results if you use some of the ZO products before having the treatment.

How long does the treatment take?

The treatment will take about 30 minutes.

You will notice results straight away and skin will be fresher, glowing and with an improvement in texture and tone. We recommend a course of treatments for optimum results.

s the peel painful?

Unlike some stronger chemical peels during which you may feel discomfort, the Stimulator Peel is not painful and does not involve any downtime. You may experience a mild warming sensation briefly whilst the peel is applied. There may be slight initial reddening of the skin, followed by limited peeling a day or two later. For special events the Peel is ideal to have 3 days before.

Avoid rubbing, scratching or peeling/picking the skin with your fingers while healing. Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 7-10 days following the peel. Sunscreen may be used after your peel.
