There is no downtime to any RevLite SI procedure, though some clients may experience erythema (redness) that typically resolves within 24 hours.
The number of sessions required varies per client and depends on a variety of factors, such as hormones, pre-existing skin damage, age, etc.

surrounding skin. The light delivered to your skin causes them to slowly disappear through your body’s natural healing process.

pre-care
- Avoid wearing makeup or any other skin care products in the treatment area.
- If there is hair in the treatment area, it is advised to shave prior to the treatment. Hair that is not shaved will be turned white by the laser..
- Your skin care specialist will review and assist with all pre-treatment requirements.
post-care
- Avoid sun exposure and use a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen to prevent further sun damage.
- Redness and swelling may occur and resolve with time
- Avoid heat – hot tubs, saunas, etc. for 1-2 days.
- Avoid skin irritants (examples below) a few days post-treatment.
- Products containing tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, astringents, etc.
- Notify the clinic of any concerns (blistering, excessive redness/swelling, etc.).
- Consult with the clinic about when to resume your skincare regime.
- Clients may experience some breakouts due to bacteria from under the skin coming to the surface.
