Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive skin care procedure that helps to target a variety of skin concerns such as skin tone and texture. A handpiece with a coarse surface is used to remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin without damaging the surrounding tissue, rejuvenating the skin.

It takes approximately 30-45 minutes.

Your skin may be slightly red for 24-48 hours post treatment.

We recommend waiting 2-4 weeks between treatments.

PRE-CARE

  • Do not use Retin-A, Accutane, and any other aggravating creams or lotions 24 to 72 hours prior to your appointment.
  • Do not take this treatment if you had recently done the following treatments:
    – Laser Surgery
    – Chemical Peel
    – Collagen injections
    – Wax
    – Sun tanning treatments or products

POST-CARE

  • Use the following products on the treated area:
  • Avoid the following:
    • Irritating the area by picking, scratching, or using harsh chemicals.
    • Exposure to the sun to prevent UV ray damage on your skin.
  • Avoid the products that include the following ingredients for 1-2 days after the treatment:
    • Glycolic acid
    • Salicylic Acid
    • Retinol
    • Benzoyl Peroxide
    • Topical Acne medications
  • Ask our medical technician as to when to return to your daily skin care routine
